The production of this incredible 745-horsepower car is strictly limited to just 38 units worldwide, and all are already assigned.
While Fernando Alonso hasn’t yet secured his much-anticipated 33rd win on the racetrack, off it, he has made a remarkable impact with the development of the Aston Martin Valiant. This supercar, designed for the track but street-legal, is a personal project of the Spanish driver.
The Valiant is powered by a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, producing 745 horsepower. To provide an authentic driving experience, it comes with a six-speed manual transmission. Based on the Aston Martin Valour, which itself is derived from the DB12, this model has been further modified and optimized for superior track performance.
One of the key objectives in developing the Valiant was to reduce weight without compromising chassis rigidity. Thanks to 3D-printed components and 21-inch magnesium wheels, 14 kg of unsprung mass have been shaved off. Additionally, a racing-spec battery sheds another 11.5 kg.
The technological heart of the Valiant is its Multimatic Adaptive Spool Valve (ASV) suspension, an advanced system typically reserved for racing cars. This suspension can adjust the stiffness of the dampers in 32 different settings in less than six milliseconds. Combined with the recalibrated driving modes—Sport, Sport+, and Track—the suspension allows the driver to fully explore the car’s immense dynamic potential.
Engineers claim that the Valiant offers a unique connection between car and driver, delivering unparalleled sensations thanks to its powerful V12 engine and manual transmission.
The Valiant’s body, made of carbon fiber, features exclusive aerodynamic details that set it apart from the Valour. With a muscular design reminiscent of Aston Martin models from the 1970s, this car is built with aerodynamics in mind—from the front splitter that enhances front-end downforce to the carbon fiber aero discs on the magnesium wheels.
The rear diffuser houses a titanium exhaust system with four outlets, not only designed for a visually striking effect but also tuned to produce a highly stimulating melody from the 745-horsepower V12 engine.
Inside, the Valiant embraces a minimalist aesthetic with unpainted satin carbon fiber and a steering wheel devoid of buttons or distractions. Primarily designed for the track, it comes standard with a roll cage and custom Recaro Podium seats.
Aston Martin offers upholstery options in Alcantara or semi-aniline leather, with handcrafted door panels featuring sculpted designs made from lightweight, high-tech materials.
Fernando Alonso commented: “The Valiant was born out of my passion for pushing the limits of driving. I thoroughly enjoyed working closely with the Q by Aston Martin team on both the design and technical specifications, and I believe we’ve created a masterpiece.”
This spectacular Aston Martin will make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Fernando Alonso will be the guest star, showcasing the Valiant in a dynamic display.
