In the fourth edition of the highly anticipated Art and Design exhibition ‘HOME, Casa, HOME’, an outstanding group of Spanish artists and designers come together under the curatorship of Marta Valea Castellote, to create a unique experience that fuses the best of the avant-garde and tradition. This initiative, driven by the collaboration between Caoticsand Materna y Herencia, gives voice to an eclectic cast that is setting trends in the contemporary art world.
Among Materna and Herencia‘s featured artists are Blanimm, who works with gauze to create paintings that play with the relationship between form and emptiness. Carlos Hache brings vibrant colourful line drawings, while Manu Oriolpresents a marble sculpture that evokes solidity and elegance. Carlota Pereiro is known for her contemporary painting, and Jacobo Pérez-Enciso has drawn a series of character-inspired chairs. Luis San Sebastián fuses craft and contemporary techniques, and Michael Slusakmowicz brings colour and expressiveness through his painting.
This work creates a dialogue with the objects, sculpture and designer furniture made in Spain by Caotics, which also brings a fresh approach to the exhibition. Among Caotics designers, Henar Iglesias has exclusively created a folding screen made of feathers, adding unique textures to the ensemble. Ángel Peris presents elegant ceramics close to drawing, while Fran Aniorte captures the essence of the Mediterranean in his ceramics turned vases.
In the field of functional design, Inés Ybarra ‘s spectacular table for her Casahari project is on display, as well as External Reference’s innovative 3D printed chair. Pedro Cerisola‘s sculptural table, Woodendot’ s furniture and Elena Rohner ‘s collaboration with Rabadan also enrich the exhibition, as well as the chairs by the interior design duo Plutarco. A more playful touch is provided by the fun and colourful furniture of Fun Furniture For Friends, which redefines the concept of contemporary furniture.
The exhibition explores an innovative concept by decontextualising art from the traditional exhibition space and presenting it in a more intimate and accessible way. In this scenario, the visitor is invited to imagine how each piece could be integrated into his or her own home, where the relationship between the inhabitant and his or her environment has become closer, more interactive and personal. In this sense, the exhibition underlines how contemporary art and design allow us to express our individuality and generate unique sensory experiences in our living spaces.
Marta Valea’s curatorial vision achieves a perfect dialogue between works by established artists and new promises of Spanish design, showing a convergence of disciplines where craftsmanship and technology go hand in hand. Through exclusive pieces, such as the screen by Henar Iglesias or the sculptures by Pedro Cerisola, the exhibition not only shows the diversity of current art and design, but also its capacity to transform everyday spaces into true works of art.
At the end of this month, Caotics will launch its new website, where you can discover a wide selection of contemporary art, crafts, sculpture and jewellery. Part of this selection is present in the exhibition, offering visitors the chance to purchase unique pieces that enhance any space.
In addition, through this union, Caotics offers art and design consultancy services, helping these works to be present in your private spaces and facilitating the creation of environments that reflect your personal style and vision.
Caotics has established itself as a benchmark in the acquisition of exclusive pieces that integrate art and design, offering a unique experience for collectors and design lovers.
