Equinox has introduced a Health Advisory Board comprising esteemed medical professionals and academics, aiming to ‘pioneer new frontiers in health optimization science for the future generation.’

In collaboration with the Equinox Fitness Training Institute, known for providing accredited training to performance coaches, the Health Advisory Board is set to propel Equinox’s mission to challenge limits, foresee upcoming trends, and develop cutting-edge, exclusive programs for both members and coaches.

Scott DeRue, Equinox’s President, expresses the brand’s unwavering commitment to delivering results to their community. He emphasizes the pivotal role of the accomplished Health Advisory Board members in elevating this shared commitment to new heights in 2024 and beyond.

The board comprises experts spanning diverse disciplines:

  • Eric Cressey, a strength and conditioning specialist and the Director of Player Health and Performance for the New York Yankees, with a track record of working with over 100 professional baseball players.
  • Dr. Mark Hyman, a renowned functional medicine expert, Founder, and Director of The UltraWellness Centre, as well as the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine.
  • Dr. Stephanie Kuku, a women’s cancer specialist, former surgical oncologist, Chief Knowledge Officer at Conceivable Life Sciences, and health technology advisor in digital health and artificial intelligence at Hardian Health.
  • Dr. Rebecca Robbins, a sleep expert and co-author of “Sleep for Success,” serving as an Assistant Professor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Associate Scientist at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
  • Dr. Jordan Shlain, founder of Private Medical, a multi-family office for Health and Medicine, along with leadership roles in EatReal and the AI digital health company, Healthloop.
